Even the healthiest of food when eaten at wrong time can leads to accumulation of toxins in the body which then results in diseases. In this way Ayurveda is so deep and successfully treated diseases from its root.

How should we eat daily so that you can treat your diseases just with the food that we eat?

  1. You should eat between sun rise and sun set:

You must eat your meals between sun-rise and sun-set timing of your area because our digestion is largely depending on that. According to Ayurveda our digestive fire rises as the sun rises and it’s on peak when sun is on its peak, and gradually dampens as sun sets. According to it any food which you eaten after sun has set are was not properly digested in our body. And this undigested food leads to accumulation of toxins inside the body which then results in short and long term diseases, over 95% diseases originate from the stomach. So this is specific eating timings for you. You can compare this type of eating pattern to INTERMITTENT FASTING, but this is much different than that because the eating timing is not decided by you but nature will decide it for you. Morden style of intermittent fasting will help you in weight loss but this type of eating pattern which decides by nature will nourish your mind, body and soul.

  1. After sun set, the only thing recommended by Ayurveda is milk, because the specific enzymes to digest the milk are secreted at that time. Milk also has sedative property which helps to calm your body and induces sleep.
  2. AYURVEDA also advice about your three meal BREAK-FAST, LUNCH AND DINNER. Even Ayurveda also recommend “break-fast like king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper”.
  3. Eating breakfast: like king mean your breakfast must be rich in all types of When you eat may be more important than what you eat. If you eat more calories as breakfast, it helps to lost more weight, because our bodies are programmed to burn the calories in the first half of the day and store energy supplies during night. You should be picky and choosy about the food you select for breakfast because the sun is not at its peak.
  4. Lunch like a prince:

Lunch like prince mean, at lunch time sun is at its peak so you can eat a heaviest meal of the day, According to Ayurvedic scripture. If you want to indulge sweets, want to eat outside food once a while lunch time is ideal.

  • Rajsic food is the same type of food are cooked in excess of salt, high sugar, too much spices, and also eaten if too cold or too hot to satisfy your tongue, they might make mind restless. so these kind of food terms as ‘Rajsic food’

Food you eat must be local. For example coconut and avocado, both are healthy sources of fat and other nutrient but coconut is local to Indians and avocado is foreign. Nature grows food in specific region to suit the people of that region. Food which grows within the 100km surroundings to your location is local for you and that food when eaten gets properly assimilated by your body.
